Members of the public can starting today (September 4) take full advantage of the extended lunchtime opening hour of four Health Education Centres of the Department of Health (DH) to view a wide variety of health education materials.
A spokesman for DH said that the centres located in Wan Chai, Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Sha Tin are open from 8.30am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays and from 8.30am to 1pm on Saturdays.
The public can visit health education exhibitions and measure their blood pressure, height and weight at the centres.
They can also view or borrow free of charge printed materials such as pamphlets, posters and booklets, and audio-visual materials such as videos, VCD, CD-Rom, slides and cassette tapes.
Some videos, VCD and CD-Rom are for sale at production cost. Previewing is available before purchase.
