DH clinics to open during Easter Holidays

The Department of Health (DH) today ( April 9) reminded members of the public that DH's 11 Public Holiday Clinics would provide general out-patient services during the Easter Holidays.

The opening hours of the clinics are :

*13 April 2001 (Friday) - from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm
*14 April 2001 (Saturday) - from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm
*15 April 2001 (Sunday) - from 9 am to 1 pm only
*16 April 2001 (Monday) - from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm

A spokesman for DH urged members of the public to make full use of the Public Holiday Clinics, particularly the extended afternoon sessions, in order to avoid unnecessary queuing at the accident and emergency departments of public hospitals during the holidays.
