The Department of Health announced today (January 12) that three batches of Calcium Gluconate Injection manufactured by Weimer Pharma GmbH are being recalled by the supplier, Hong Kong Medical Supplies Ltd.
The three batches are 9832229, 0031806 and 9818407.
The recall followed the discovery of particles in ampoules of the injection.
Doctors who have procured any of the above batches of Calcium Gluconate Injection are advised to return them to the supplier.
