The following is issued on behalf of the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong:
The four-and-a-half-month application period for the registration of Chinese medicine practitioners under the transitional arrangements will end tomorrow (December 30) and the Secretariat of the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong (CMC) will extend its opening hours until 5 pm the same day to facilitate last minute applications.
Eligible persons who were practising Chinese medicine on January 3 this (2000) year, should submit their applications to the CMC Secretariat located on the 37th Floor of Wu Chung House, 213 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
Applications can also be sent by post. All applications bearing the postmark of December 30 this (2000) year or before will be accepted. For enquiries, please call 2121 1888.
The CMC has received more than 7 400 applications to date.
