Other Relevant Legislation

The grant of the exemption does not mean that the Director of Health has made a determination that the product complies with other legislation. Other relevant legislation shall be complied with which may include but are not limited to-

1. the This link will open in a new window Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance (Cap. 599) for import of biological materials;
2. the This link will open in a new window Pharmacy and Poisons (P&P) Ordinance (Cap. 138) for registration of pharmaceutical products; and
3. the This link will open in a new window Import and Export Ordinance (Cap. 60) for import and export of prohibited articles – prohibited articles include pharmaceutical products under the P&P Ordinance.
