Announcement on appointment of Controller of Centre for Health Protection

In response to press enquiries, a spokesman for the Department of Health (DH) today (December 18) confirmed that the Controller of the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the DH, Dr Thomas Tsang, tendered his resignation in late September and will leave the post with effect from December 29. The Head of the Surveillance and Epidemiology Branch of the CHP, Dr Leung Ting-hung, will take up the post of the Controller of the CHP on the same day.
