DH clinics to open during Easter and Labour Day Holidays

The Department of Health (DH) today (April 18) reminded members of the public that DH's 11 Public Holiday Clinics would provide general out-patient services during the Easter and Labour Day Holidays.

The opening hours of the clinics are:

• 21 April 2000 (Friday) - from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm
• 22 April 2000 (Saturday) - from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm
• 23 April 2000 (Sunday) - from 9 am to 1 pm only
• 24 April 2000 (Monday) - from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm
• 1 May 2000 (Monday) - from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm

A spokesman for DH urged the public to make full use of the Public Holiday Clinics, particularly the extended afternoon sessions, in order to avoid unnecessary queuing at the accident and emergency departments of public hospitals during the holidays.
