Chart B: Number of Field(s) of Additional Training Received / Being Received by Active Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners Enumerated Of the 1 728 active registered Chinese medicine practitioners enumerated, 38.5% did not receive any additional training, 36.7% received / were receiving one field of additional training, 8.9% received / were receiving two fields of additional training, 4.6% received / were receiving three fields of additional training, 2.8% received / were receiving four fields of additional training, 1.6% received / were receiving five fields of additional training, 0.8% received / were receiving six fields of additional training, 4.7% received / were receiving seven or more fields of additional training and 1.3% did not reveal the number of field of additional training. Among those registered Chinese medicine practitioners who were trained in one field of additional training, 27.7% received / were receiving additional training in acupuncture and moxibustion of Chinese medicine, 15.3% in Chinese medicine (general practice), 14.0% in internal medicine of Chinese medicine, 10.7% in orthopaedics and traumatology of Chinese medicine, 5.2% in integration of Chinese-Western medicine, 3.5% in gynaecology of Chinese medicine, 3.3% in Hong Kong healthcare system and regulatory system of Chinese medicine, 3.0% in training programme attended before the Chinese medicine practitioners licensing examination, 2.4% in oncology nursing, 2.4% in Chinese materia medica, 2.2% in treatise on exogenous febrile diseases, 1.7% in fundamental theories of Chinese medicine, 1.4% in modern basic medical science and 7.2% in others.
