Chart B: Number of Field of Specialty of Specialised Training Received / Being Received by Active Doctors Enumerated Of the 5 566 active doctors enumerated, 74.5% received or were receiving one field of specialised training, 1.6% received or were receiving two to four fields of specialised training, 0.4% did not reveal the field of their specialised training, 23.4% did not receive any specialised training, and 0.1% did not reveal whether they received any specialised training or not. Among those doctors who were involved with one field of specialty in specialised training, 21.5% were trained / being trained in internal medicine, followed by 12.7% in surgery, 8.9% in paediatrics, 8.6% in family medicine, 8.2% in obstetrics & gynaecology, 6.4% in anaesthesiology, 5.9% in radiology, 5.7% in orthopaedics & traumatology, 5.2% in psychiatry, 4.5% in emergency medicine, 3.9% in ophthalmology, 3.3% in community medicine, 3.0% in pathology, and 2.2% in otorhinolaryngology.
