Chart title: Activity Status of Chiropractors Covered Of the 193 chiropractors covered, 116 (60.1%) responded to the survey, while the remaining 77 (39.9%) did not respond. Among the respondents, 101 (87.1%) were active in the local chiropractic profession, while 15 (12.9%) reported to be inactive in the local chiropractic profession. Among the 101 active chiropractors, 98 (97.0%) were practising in the local chiropractic profession, one (1.0%) (a) was not practising in the chiropractic profession in Hong Kong during the survey period; (b) had been available for work in the local chiropractic profession during the seven days before the survey; and (c) had sought work in the local chiropractic profession during the 30 days before the survey and two (2.0%) (a) were not practising in the chiropractors profession in Hong Kong during the survey period; (b) had not been available for work during the seven days before the survey; and (c) was starting business at subsequent date or waiting to take up a new job in the local chiropractic profession during the 30 days before the survey. Of the 15 inactive chiropractors, 13 (86.7%) reported practising overseas / in the Mainland and two (13.3%) were not seeking job in the chiropractic profession.
