Chart E: Number of Field(s) of Additional Training Received / Being Received by Active Listed Chinese Medicine Practitioners Enumerated


Of the 328 active listed Chinese medicine practitioners enumerated, 51.5% did not receive any additional training, 10.1% received / were receiving one field of additional training, 16.8% received / were receiving two fields of additional training, 11.0% received / were receiving three fields of additional training, 1.2% received / were receiving four fields or five fields of additional training, 7.3% received / were receiving six or more fields of additional training and 0.9% did not reveal the number of field of additional training.

Among those listed Chinese medicine practitioners who were trained in one field of additional training, 24.2% received / were receiving additional training in Chinese medicine (general practice), 24.2% in orthopaedics and traumatology of Chinese medicine, 18.2% in training programme attended before the Chinese medicine practitioners licensing examination, 9.1% in internal medicine of Chinese medicine, 6.1% in acupuncture and moxibustion of Chinese medicine and 18.2% in others.
