Chart B: Number of Field(s) of Additional Training Received / Being Received by Active Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners Enumerated Of the 1 812 active registered Chinese medicine practitioners enumerated, 46.3% did not receive any additional training, 22.6% received / were receiving one field of additional training, 13.9% received / were receiving two fields of additional training, 6.5% received / were receiving three fields of additional training, 2.1% received / were receiving four fields of additional training, 1.8% received / were receiving five fields of additional training, 1.2% received / were receiving six fields of additional training, 4.3% received / were receiving seven or more fields of additional training, 1.3% did not reveal the number of field of additional training. Among those registered Chinese medicine practitioners who were trained in one field of additional training, 29.3% received / were receiving additional training in acupuncture and moxibustion of Chinese medicine, 16.6% in Chinese medicine (general practice), 10.2% in orthopaedics and traumatology of Chinese medicine, 8.0% in internal medicine of Chinese medicine, 5.9% in integration of Chinese-Western medicine, 3.7% in gynaecology of Chinese medicine, 3.7% in training programme attended before the Chinese medicine practitioners licencing examination, 2.4% in Hong Kong healthcare system and regulatory system of Chinese medicine, 1.7% in Chinese materia medica, 1.7% in oncology nursing, 1.7% in treatise on exogenous febrile diseases, 1.5% in diagnostics of Chinese medicine, 1.5% in modern basic medical science and 12.2% in others.
