Of the 12 854 institutions covered, 12 400 had responded to the survey, giving an overall response rate of 96.5%.

Among the 12 400 responding institutions, 15.3% were found to employ healthcare personnel* whilst 84.7% did not employ any such healthcare personnel at all.


* Healthcare personnel refer to those who held recognised qualifications in their respective fields of practice.
