Chart B: Number of Field of Specialty of Specialised Training Received / Being Received by Active Doctors Enumerated Of the 5 597 active doctors enumerated, 75.2% received or were receiving one field of specialised training, 1.4% received or were receiving two to nine fields of specialised training, 0.1% did not reveal the field of their specialised training, 23.2% did not receive any specialised training, and 0.2% did not reveal whether they received any specialised training or not. Among those doctors who were involved with one field of specialty in specialised training, 22.9% were trained / being trained in internal medicine, followed by 12.3% in surgery, 9.6% in paediatrics, 8.2% in family medicine, 7.5% in obstetrics & gynaecology, 6.8% in anaesthesiology, 5.5% in orthopaedics & traumatology, 5.4% in radiology, 5.0% in psychiatry, 4.8% in emergency medicine, 3.8% in ophthalmology, 3.2% in pathology, 2.7% in community medicine, 2.3% in otorhinolaryngology, and 0.1% in others.
