1. Department of Health Annual Report

The Department of Health Annual Report 2005/2006 is available for free access on electronic copy. Apart from reporting on various activities undertaken by the Department, other useful information including health indicators, statistics on major health problems and notifiable infectious diseases are also presented in the Report.

3. Strategic Framework for Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases

Department of Health has developed a strategic framework on prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (NCD) in Hong Kong. A strategic document titled "Promoting Health in Hong Kong: A Strategic Framework for Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases" is launched to call for community support in the prevention and control of NCD. There is also a bilingual brochure that summaries the main points of this framework document.

4 . Other publications, pamphlets and information materials

We have produced publications, pamphlets and other information materials to provide information on the Department's services as well as health topics that are of interest to the community. Most of them are available for free distribution at our clinics, centres and offices and/or free access on the website, while some are for sale at specified prices. 6 . Medical Records

On request from and with the written consent of the subject patient, medical reports, certificates or related information may be issued on charges as specified in the Gazette. For detailed procedures and arrangements, please approach the respective clinics or health centres for enquiry.
