Welcome to the Department of Health homepage.
The Department of Health is the health adviser of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and an executive arm in health legislation and policy. Our role is to safeguard the health of the community through promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. Our motto, "Partnership in Health", reflects the involvement of the community and other health care professionals in the joint effort to improve the health of the people of Hong Kong. We welcome information from international health organisations.
Health has no boundary and I hope that through this homepage, we can
liaise closely with partners in health in Hong Kong and all over the world.
