The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health received one report of influenza-like illness (ILI) outbreak in a school affecting four persons during the 24 hours ending at noon today (September 7).
Reports about Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) outbreaks involving six persons in three schools were received during the same period.
The above brought to two and seven respectively the cumulative totals of ILI and HFMD outbreak reports since the start of the new school term in September.
