Results of Registration Examination for Pharmacists announced

The following is issued on behalf of the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong.

The Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong today (August 31) announced results of the Pharmacists Registration Examination held in June.

There were 51, 42 and 50 candidates sitting for the Examination in "Pharmacy Legislation in Hong Kong", "Pharmacy Practice" and "Pharmacology" respectively with corresponding passing rates of 56.9%, 47.6% and 72%.

Apart from meeting other requirements prescribed by the board, any pharmacy graduate outside Hong Kong intending to be registered as a pharmacist in Hong Kong is required to pass the three subjects.

The board conducts its registration examination twice a year, normally in June and December.
