A spokesman for the Department of Health (DH) said there had been 243 newly confirmed cases of human swine influenza (Influenza A H1N1) in the 24 hours to 2.30pm today (August 17).
The new cases involve 117 males and 126 females, aged between one month and 86 years.
This brings to 7,314 the total number of human swine influenza cases in Hong Kong.
