The Department of Health (DH) has so far located 22 passengers and a crew member of Cathy Pacific flight no. CX 831 (codeshare American Airlines (AA6091)) who arrived in Hong Kong from New York yesterday (May 16) evening.

The passengers concerned sat at row 57 to 63 of the flight. A 23-year-old passenger sitting on row 60 of the flight was confirmed to have been infected with human swine influenza (Influenza A H1N1) earlier today (May 17).

All of them have developed no symptoms of influenza. They are being taken to Lady MacLehose Holiday Camp for quarantine up to May 23. A DH spokesman urged people who had taken the flight concerned to call the Centre for Health Protection hotline 2125 1111 to facilitate follow up investigation by the department.
