The Oral Health Education Unit aims at promoting oral health to the public through educational and promotional activities and the dissemination of oral health information.

Services include :

1. Planning, implementation and evaluation of preschool and secondary oral health education programmes.

2. Identifying and training concerned people to be oral health facilitators.

3. Conducting roving oral health exhibition.

4. Organising or collaborating with other organisations to carry out oral health education activities.

5. Supplying or lending oral health education resources to the public. The resources include posters, leaflets, booklets, exhibits, slides, videos, cassette tapes and games etc.

6. Providing a 24-hour Oral Health Education Hotline service. (Hotline No. : 2713 6344)

7. Conducting " Brighter Smile Playland " visitation programmes.
