Issue of official vaccination or inoculation certificates is provided free of charge to civil service eligible persons at the Travel Health Centres, Department of Health upon verification of eligibility through the Medical and Dental Benefits Eligibility Checking System or presentation of a valid revised GF 181 (in pink) (for civil servants and their eligible dependants) or revised Try. 447 (in brown) (for pensioners and their eligible dependants), and production of valid proof of identity by civil service eligible persons. At present, such certificate is only issued for vaccination against yellow fever for international travel.

For other travel-related health services offered by the Travel Health Centres, civil service eligible persons are required to pay for these services which aim at enhancing personal protection and not treatment. For those civil servants who will be sent for overseas training, duty visits or posted outside Hong Kong, travel-related health advice and the vaccinations requirements imposed by the receiving institutions will be provided free of charge subject to the production of valid GF 181s and related documents.

公務員合資格人士可於衞生署旅遊健康中心透過資格核證系統核實其資格或出示有效的經修訂的通用表格第181號 (粉紅色) (適用於公務員及其合資格家屬) 或經修訂的庫務署表格第447號 (棕色) (適用於退休公務員及其合資格家屬)，以及出示有效的身分證明文件後免費獲簽發正式的疫苗注射或防疫注射證明書。目前，該等證明書的簽發對象只限於接受黃熱病防疫注射的往外地旅遊人士。

至於衞生署旅遊健康中心提供的其他與旅遊有關的保健服務，公務員合資格人士則須支付服務費，因為有關服務只為加強對個人健康的保障，而非提供診治。不過，往海外受訓、公幹或調職往香港以外地區的公務員，如能出示有效的通用表格181號和海外接待機構所要求疫苗注射的文件，便可免費獲提供與旅遊有關的保健意見及疫苗注射。
